Betrayal or Surrender

(Judas/Paul)
Which side would you be on?

Hear this 🗣️: Just believing in Jesus’s power and existence is NOT the same as actually surrendering to His Lordship.

May people think, my “radical Christianity” is because “I need ALL THAT” to stay sober because I used to be a drug addict.

Those people are missing it…

I actually think I’m the blessed one, because I hit such a rock-bottom that it shook me to my core. It opened my spiritual eyes, and the “world grew strangely dim” for me.

Because I hit rock bottom, I learned this: Jesus deserves “ALL THAT”. Not just the easy parts. He deserves what you/I think is “too much” to give up.

What the world calls “radical Chritianity” is what God calls SURRENDER.

We all should have a Damascus Road experience like Paul had—one that takes you from “religion”into something real and radical, fully surrendered to God. The kind of surrender that if your life offends people living worldly, even “christians”, then so be it!

I was reading Luke 22 and thinking about Judas’s betrayal, and honestly, it reminds me of so many Christians today.

😭😭😭

Judas is like the person who believes in Jesus. Maybe they’ve even been saved from big, traumatic stuff—addiction, anxiety, pornography, depression. They go to church on Sundays, maybe even on Wednesdays…

But Jesus isn’t really Lord of their life.

They’re holding onto secret sins. There’s no surrender in the music they listen to, the movies they watch, the clothes they wear, or the people they hang out with.

The truth is, they’ve never really surrendered to God.

Surrender isn’t just saying you believe—it’s giving Him control.

And let’s be real: control is thinking your opinion is always right. Even reading this, did it bring conviction or make you roll your eyes?

Here’s something to really think about: What have you actually surrendered to God?

👉 Your morning time?
👉 Your work hours?
👉 Your mouth?
👉 Your opinions?
👉 Your clothing?
👉 Your movies/music?

A lot of people think when Jesus comes back, they’ll be fine. They think they’ll be caught up in the rapture.

But I’m telling you: if you haven’t surrendered—if you haven’t given Him your mind, your will, and your emotions (your soul)—you’re not ready.

And what if you die before the rapture?

That’s why I’m desperate. Desperate for people trapped in that religious spirit.

Why? Because that was me for 38 years. I didn’t really change because of God—I just changed for the world and what it wanted. Many of you even saw my downfall.

“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?” (Luke 6:46)

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” (John 14:15)

“You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!” (James 2:19)

1 Thessalonians 2:4
“…but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts.”
