I always prayed this prayer as if I was “throwing up my hands”, a moment of surrender where I tell the Lord, your will be done. “I did my part” now whatever outcome, that must have been your will.

I cannot believe I’ve been so deceived and blinded from this truth my whole life and as I prayed this morning the Lord ripped the blinders off my eyes and showed me the truth.

When we die, there is a reading of our “last Will and Testament” so interesting they use those two words. I don’t think that is by accident.

Google told me this “A last will and testament is a legal document that allows a person to express their wishes for how their assets and affairs should be handled after their death. It can help to avoid unnecessary stress and conflict for family members during a difficult time”.

Before Jesus came, God gave us his Will & Testament (Old Testament). He shared with humanity, protective truths to keep them from going down paths that would hurt them. But humanity (obviously) didn’t fully understand. I’ve only raised one child and I know how utterly frustrating it can be when instruction is given and not adhered to…can you imagine God? I always say, it makes sense why he was silent for 400 years. Humanity is so stubborn!

Anywho, humanity kept going further and further into rebellion and wickedness; I believe as one last ditch effort to save humanity God thought, “ok telling them the way isn’t working…let me show them the way” and He sent his Son to earth to walk out humanity without sin.

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

A Will can be changed until that person dies. Jesus died, and His will can now never be changed.

So again, as I prayed today for His Will to be done. I am praying that everything God commanded and Jesus died for, is done. This prayer has nothing to do with human opinion. The Bible is God’s last will and testament.

So when we pray as Jesus says we should; “Our Father who art in heaven…Thy Will be done, On earth as it is in heaven” we are praying that His Word (his last will and testament) be done on earth as it is in heaven.

The reading of the Will:

Life:
“A thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance.” John 10:10 CSB

Abortion is death, so if I voted contrary to life I have gone against Gods Will.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
    before you were born I set you apart;
    I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 NIV

Sanctity of Marriage:

“So God created man in his own image; he created him in the image of God; he created them male and female. God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and every creature that crawls on the earth.””

The first thing God commanded humanity was to be fruitful and multiply. I have friends and family members who (as of today) identify as part of the LGBTQ community. If you are for same sex marriage then you are not for God’s Will. However, if you would like to continue to pray for His Will to be done and you’re praying for it the way I use to pray for it, we as Christ followers would love for that to continue, we are in full agreement that His Will needs to be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Words are spirit and they are powerful so we thank you for joining in and believing that His Will come to earth as it is in Heaven.

Purity:

“For God has not called us to impurity but to live in holiness. Consequently, anyone who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.”

Israel:

Gods chosen people, His Holy nation is Israel.

“How beautiful are your tents, Jacob, your dwellings, Israel. They stretch out like river valleys, like gardens beside a stream, like aloes the Lord has planted, like cedars beside the water. Water will flow from his buckets, and his seed will be by abundant water. His king will be greater than Agag, and his kingdom will be exalted. God brought him out of Egypt; he is like the horns of a wild ox for them. He will feed on enemy nations and gnaw their bones; he will strike them with his arrows. He crouches, he lies down like a lion or a lioness — who dares to rouse him? Those who bless you will be blessed, and those who curse you will be cursed.”

If you voted for a party that supports Palestine over Israel, then you voted to not inherit what is in the reading of “God’s Will” for your life. You walked out of the lawyers office and said, give my portion to them, and you chose to receive the Will of Satan. I know that sounds harsh, I’m not harsh, however; I am direct. Humanity is so stubborn and selfish and if there is a voice in the wilderness that will cry out loud enough, and direct enough to open just ones persons eyes, then I am willing to be the one, I will do it!

“Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come— In the volume of the book it is written of Me— To do Your will, O God.’ ””

As I pray on this Election Day November 5, 2024. I’m not throwing up my hands and saying to God, “well I cast my vote, now whatever the outcome is, that’s your will being done.” Let’s listen to the executor of the will:

““Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.”
