Here I am again with a burden on my heart about the mixture in churches and so many “Christians” lives…

Please know, I am writing this to those who identify as Christians. This is not for those who have not yet turned their life over to Christ.

As Christians, we are CALLED to a new way of life when we make HIM Lord!

If you don’t have a “then and now” in your life, you know, the moment you went from Saul to Paul? If there isn’t a difference in you before Christ and who you are today…have you truly given your life to Christ?

I read this verse and it’s just so plain, that my only conclusion is “Christians” are not doing the word, here’s a sad thought I had…do they even read the word?

“Ephraim mixes himself with the [Gentile] nations [seeking favor with one country, then another]; Ephraim is a cake not turned [worthless; ready to be thrown away].”
‭‭Hosea‬ ‭7‬:‭8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

If you study this further, the word Ephraim means “TO BE fruitful”.

So, In the RJV (Rachel Jean Version) I saw this…if I am mixing what the Lord says is right with what society says is right, I will not bear the fruit I had the potential to bear.

The Bible itself contradicts many Christians belief systems, and they still won’t change but they call themselves Christians. Isn’t that hypocritical? The justifications and reasonings cause them to be “worthless” that verse says.

Let me go “radical” for all the Christian’s that don’t think “it takes all that” …

What music do you listen to? (did you just roll your eyes, thinking “oh my gosh, that doesn’t matter”)

What do you watch on TV?

Do you tithe? (Or is that just “Old Testament to you?”

Do you allow gossip to come in?

Do you use the justification that it’s ok to drink because Jesus turned water into wine?

Is pot ok for you because society has legalized it?

Do you still cuss here n there?

Is it ok for your kids to engage in witchcraft because you’ve never educated yourself biblically on what witchcraft is, you just assume it’s caldrons, black cats and “witches”?

Do you celebrate Halloween (yes, I know that’s a hard one for a lot of people to let go of)

How about pornography? (The real silent killer)

Do you guard yourself from the opposite sex, or do you go running toward them for acceptance?

See, We’ve allowed so much mixture in our lives. And the sad part is, it infiltrated so slowly that we don’t even think it’s there …. pride and our lofty opinion and refusal to evaluate ourselves according to the word stops the conviction of the Holy Spirit to change us.
Isn’t that sad, we actually stop the Lords movement in our lives.

“So then, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation, but not to our flesh [our human nature, our worldliness, our sinful capacity], to live according to the [impulses of the] flesh [our nature without the Holy Spirit]— for if you are living according to the [impulses of the] flesh, you are going to die. But if [you are living] by the [power of the Holy] Spirit you are habitually putting to death the sinful deeds of the body, you will [really] live forever. For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭AMP‬‬

He also says, don’t just be hearers of the word, but be doers! The transforming power of the Holy Spirit won’t work in your life if you don’t do your part.

If reading this causes you to roll your eyes or you think, that’s not what he means, I challenge you to get with him and his word, with a humble heart, about the direction you should go.

God I pray, let the Christians open their eyes and evaluate their lives and change not because of religious duty but because of such a close relationship with you that it’s you and only you who convicts them & radically changes them so they can walk in their Paul anointing!! In Jesus name!!
